Every since I was a kid I had the artistic ability. My father is a sensational artist along with his brothers, I guess you can say its in my blood. When I was 5 years old I remember seeing my uncle tattooing in the back yard on friends. At the time I wasn't really into it like you would expect. It wasn't till I was 10 when I made my first homemade tattoo machine. No particular reason besides me wanting to see if i could just make one. Walk man motor, lead pencil, 9volt, guitar string and a whole lot of electrical tape. It wasn't till I was 16 when I did my first tattoo on a cousin of mine. I pretty much butchered his grandmas name on his chest. After that first time I was able to catch what I had did wrong and asked if I could do more. He was cool enough to say yeah and let me begin a back piece. As I went along session after session I learned upon the way. A few years later the internet had came about and I was able to learn much more. I had seen a few pictures from artist locally and thought to myself if there doing that kind of work so can I. So I begin to push myself and shortly after quitting my job, I had become full time. Once I had did that I never looked back. 16 years later I became who I am today….. "JohnnyTatt"
